The performance of services of any kind upon the surface of a client’s skin, scalp, or nail where the skin, scalp, or nail is inflamed or where a skin infection or eruption is present unless authorized by a physician or podiatrist.
The removal of corns, calluses, or other growths of the skin, such as warts, by cutting. It is very important to have a good understanding of what calluses are and how to get them treated. “Corns and calluses are NOT soft tissue problems and there is no “root” to be removed. No matter how much they are cut down or debrided, they will return. Painful corns and calluses are the result of abnormal position of the underlying bone. Often hammertoes become painful because a bursal sac will develop between the bone and corn or callus. The bursal sac can be treated with injections and anti-inflammatory medications. If this relieves the symptoms then surgery can be delayed. If these treatments fail, then structural correction of the hammertoe is recommended by your physician.”

Dragon Nails Reserves the Right to Refuse Service. Under federal anti-discrimination laws, businesses can refuse service to any person for any reason, unless the business is discriminating against a protected class. We reserve the right to refuse service or turn away customers to protect their patrons and business.
In general, refusal of service is justified in cases where a customer’s presence interferes with the safety and well-being of other patrons and the establishment itself. The most basic examples of this include patrons who are unreasonably rowdy, patrons lacking adequate hygiene, rude, impolite or bring threat to the salon, and those accompanied by large groups of non-customers.
Please understand that as licensed nail technicians, we foremost offer essential nail care and beauty upgrades within Maryland State Board law and regulations. This includes cleaning and maintaining the cuticles, trimming and shaping nails, and any necessary care for the skin and nail bed.
State Board says: No razor-edged tool or other device can be used to remove calluses. Callus removal should not be performed by a nail technician, but rather a qualified medical professional.
As nail techs, our license limits us to servicing healthy nails. It’s against the law for us to diagnose or treat any condition, even if we believe we know what a client needs. We refuse to serve you due to:
The client is with ill health conditions that we suspect may be contagious or we fear that could be further harmed by our services.
If there are any fungus or infections present in the treatment area. This is a safety issue because if the technician is to provide services to you we could spread the infection or inflame it.

MAINTENANCE & WARRANTY & GUARANTEE POLICY
1. Clients should expect nail extensions to gradually wear-off with time. Extensive exposure to water or cleaning chemicals increases the likelihood in the lifting of the nail extensions. We recommend nail enhancements or refills every 2 -3 weeks.
The long-wear of nail polish is also dependent on wear & tear clients should expect it to chip or peel. Regular polishes may last up to 2 days and Gel Polishes should be guaranteed up to 2 weeks, however this is also dependent on the situation.

2. You need to visit your nail technician every 2 to 3 weeks to fill in the space created by the growth of your natural nails. The duration of acrylics can vary from one person to another. Nevertheless, experts advise that you should never go beyond three weeks without going for a fill and nail treatment. This helps to take the pressure from the lifted expansion off your natural nails. It can also lower your risk of a fungal infection.

3. You are paying for the artist’s time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refund will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact us within 48 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done with a complimentary express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product.
